World Literacy Canada writing contest open
World Literacy Canada is hosting a writing contest called Write for a Better World. It encourages Canadian students in grades 5-8 to write a 400-word story about a culture that is new to them in another part of the world. Last year over 1,500 children entered stories. The deadline for entries is April 4, 2014.
